About Our Workshop

Hands-On Learning in Perth

We’ve been training audio professionals since 2018. Our workshop brings together industry experts and aspiring sound designers in a collaborative environment where you’ll work with real tools and real projects.

The workshop isn’t just theory. You’ll spend most of your time actually creating — recording voice actors, designing sound effects, building music systems. We believe you learn audio by doing audio, not by watching presentations.

Our students have gone on to work with indie game studios, create mobile games, and launch their own audio design services. Many started exactly where you are now — curious but uncertain about the technical side.

Questions?

Frequently Asked

Do I need prior music or audio experience?

Not at all. We teach from the ground up. The workshop starts with fundamentals and moves through to advanced techniques. You’ll work at your own pace within the structured curriculum.

What equipment do I need?

We provide access to professional equipment during the workshop. For personal projects afterward, we’ll guide you through affordable starter setups that won’t break the bank.

Can I work with my own game project?

Yes. Many students bring their own game projects and apply what they’re learning directly. We encourage this approach because it makes the skills immediately useful.

Is this online or in-person?

We offer both formats. In-person workshops in Perth provide hands-on access to professional studios and equipment. Online sessions work great for the conceptual learning parts.

What software will we use?

We teach industry-standard tools like FMOD, Wwise, Reaper, and Unity audio integration. We also cover free and affordable alternatives so you can continue learning after the workshop.
